I was learning to play the guitar, but now I’m learning to play the banjo. I love my digital tuner!

How cool. Love the banjo. I understand it is harder to play than guitar.

I've just subscribed to The Senior Techie on your recommendation, Jane. As a digital immigrant — or maybe an analog refugee — I need all the plain-talk help I can get. This stuff isn't just for Boomers, though: a few years ago, we fired our money manager because he wanted us to send him financial info and docs through UNENCRYPTED emails. Duh.

HI JANE:

VERY INTERESTING CONTENT BUT MUCH TOO WORDY FOR ME.

I SUGGEST HAVING AN AUTOMATED VOICE READ THE TEXT WHICH WOULD MAKE IT MUCH MORE ENGAGING AND USE AI TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE THE COMMUNICATION EXPERIENCE TECHNOLOGY WILL DEFINITELY CHANGE THE AGING EXPERIENCE IF WE KNOW HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. ELIZABETH

Thanks for this helpful roundup Jane. I think most of us can't manage without our phones handy and it's always good for safety. I especially love certain apps on my phone and use my Spotify for workout playlists, Strava for capturing data on my walks and runs and None2Run which is my run/walk interval app. In fact, I'm going to go use the trio now!

Thank you so much for this, Jane! I’m honored that you took the time and effort to talk about my work.

My goal is to make tech understandable for seniors. I hope I succeed in every article.
